Fruit Ninja is a "Gesture-Recognition" and "Slice-Physics" arcade game. The core is the Trajectory Tracking Engine—the system tracks your swipe coordinates and calculates the cutting angle across 3D object models. It emphasizes "Spatial Intersection," where fruit follows gravity-based parabolic paths, requiring players to execute multi-hit combos within millisecond windows. It is a test of hand-eye coordination and instant spatial judgment.

Swipe across the screen to generate "Blade Traces." The gameplay is Parabolic Slicing: fruit is tossed from the bottom; you must cut it before it falls. Interaction involves "Trap Avoidance"—slicing a bomb ends the game (Classic) or deducts massive points (Arcade). You must distinguish between targets and hazards while using "Long Swipes" to cut multiple fruits in a single motion for combo bonuses.

High scores are earned via Combo Stacking and Power-ups. Slicing 3+ fruits in one swipe triggers a "Combo." The pro secret is "Apogee Slicing"—hitting fruit at the highest point of their arc where their vertical velocity is near zero, making it easier to line up 5+ fruit for a "Great Combo." Utilizing "Frenzy Bananas" to fill the screen with fruit and then swiping in a "Zig-Zag" pattern is the key to world-record scores.
